This post is going to be a lot longer than my last post because I'm squeezing two days into this one.
*********************************************************************************
The second day was Sunday, so we went to worship service at Miss Anna's church. after that, we left, and they stayed to listen to the service.
we went to the British Library, and saw a bunch of real books by famous people.
we also saw Charles Dickens's signature, and the song ideas by the Beatles, And the Magna Carta, which was super cool.
Then we walked to the church and picked up miss Anna and her kids. then we went back to the library, and took more pictures.
Then we intermittently walked and rode the tube to Piccadilly Circus. Here's an attempt at getting a picture with the square.
But, as you can see, buses kept getting in the way.😞
we also went to Top Shop, a clothing store that mom used to go to, the LEGO store, and this really colorful candy store called Kingdom of Sweets.
we were really amused that Top Shop had a section for "mom" jeans.😂
desgusting.😝
Here's us at the lego store, where I really wish we'd taken more pictures.
Then miss Anna and her kids went home, and we went to the national gallery.
We did have more pictures somewhere, but I lost them.😒
Then we went to a sort of florists, and they had awesome statues made with flowers.
Cool colorful tunnel.😛
Another phone booth picture.
And here's us in front of Westminster Abbey.
The perfect London view.
(notice I look really tired in this picture.)
Blaise almost threw his toy car in the Thames.😂
Here's Golden's London picture.
We all spat in the Thames.
Here's us at Trafalgar sqare.😉
Ok, ok, I'll stop with the lion pictures.
He's so cute.😍
Here's Mom's dream car.
Anyway, so we went back to the house, and had a well deserved rest.
The next day...
Here's us at Buckingham!
So we watched the changing of the guard, after waiting an hour and a half, and having to pee and walking a quarter mile to find a bathroom, only to find that they were closed for renovations. So I walked all the way back, and watched the changing of the guard without going to the bathroom, and guess what? It was pretty boring. I definitely would not recommend going to see it if you're ever in London, especially if the company you're in includes little kids.
So after that we went to St. James park, and saw baby swans and the like.
By then we were getting pretty hungry, so we went to get something to eat, and we hadn't gotten fish and chips yet, so we went restraint hunting. We found a little pub with half price burgers every Monday. (It also helped that we saw the menu, and it had a $2 "bucket of fries.")
Blinking.⬆️😁
this is me sarcastically eating out of my "bucket of fries"
(mom promised to buy us fries some other time, since we were so dissapointed that it was so small.)
Then we headed The Tower of London, and saw these awesome chicken wire statues.
So then we listened to a very interesting speech about the tower, and here's me looking hungrily at one of the guards. I didn't eat him. *cough cough*
And here's me marveling at how short people were back then. I mean, I was taller than that suit of armor!
Here's a view of us with the tower bridge in the background.
eeeew!😝 (not that he doesn't lay on the dirty ground like that every day)
cool dressed up people.😁
Then we went and got a cup o' tea and headed back to miss Anna's house.
(on the way I finally found a good sweater. I'd been looking for a london sweater the whole trip, and the last minute I finally found one!😂 [I'd wandered about euroupe in a tiny stained gray hoodie.])
This is the next day when we were about to begin our journey back home to Virginia.
The End
